Sefton Democracy Club turns spotlight on the media's influence over UK politics at September meeting

Sefton Democracy Club will be discussing the media's influence on UK politics at its September meeting.

Guest speakers at the meeting include a former Reuters executive and a leading regional political reporter.

Does the media impose too much influence on our politics? Is the media politically bias? What has the hacking scandal revealed about the relationship between the media and our national politics?

Whatever your opinion, come along and have your say.

Sefton Democracy Club is an apolitical group which has been established to give the people of Sefton the chance to freely debate some of the big issues of the day.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 27 starting at 7pm at Maghull Town Hall.

Meetings are free to attend and open to all.
