Sefton Democracy Club is preparing for its second meeting following a successful first gathering earlier this month.
More than 20 people attended the inaugural meeting of the club in Maghull Town Hall.
The topic for discussion was the economy and members had the chance to debate and question the issues surrounding the country's financial situation.
